Neighbour

24 February 2009

The building works has come to a stage where everything slows down considerably. Previously we get things sprouting up from the ground in no time at all. Now that the major external works are almost complete, it's time for the 'delicate' internal jobs to be carried out.

Cornices in place

Door panels have arrived

The works are now progressively slower due to the fact that things have to be done one by one instead of overlapping simultaneously. By this, I mean to say that the plastering will have to be completed before the cornices and skirting go in. The architraves will have to be fitted prior to painting. The joinery will have to wait before all this is finished and etc. etc.

Bored with the unharried pace that has settle over since Lock-up stage we directed the camera lenses to the vicinity.

Snap some happy photos

Snap our beautiful trees

Eh, what's that?

This could only mean one thing: -

Neighbours!!

Turns out that our neighbours is actually just a neighbour. Yup, one nice solo guy who thankfully for us, agrees that Willow or Meadow or Evergreen are ugly colours for fences.

The next door builders bruised our trees though ...
